Chick Days Coloring Contest - Win a Pizza Party

Hey kids, you can win a Pizza Party for your class in our annual Murdoch’s Chick Days coloring contest! Just print, color, then deliver your entry to your local Murdoch's by March 31. Entries will be displayed at Murdoch's during the month of March. The winning entry will be chosen on April 1st and his or her class will win a classroom pizza party, courtesy of your friends at Murdoch’s! The pizza party will be organized by the student’s teacher and Murdoch’s store manager.

Organized Field Trips

Teachers are welcome and encouraged to set up a class field trip to Murdoch’s, to visit and learn about these baby animals and their life on the farm. Field trips should be scheduled in advance by contacting the Murdoch’s store manager. We also will have a fun Chick Days bookmark for each child at the store, full of chick facts, jokes and interesting information.

This site has lesson plans and printout activities from dot-to-dot and story activities, to the formation of an egg and growth of embryo and incubation diagrams.
