African Goose - Straight Run
This breed of goose matures early and has a large black knob on its head, which makes it different from other geese. It also has a dark stripe down the back of its neck.
Anacona - Pullets
Famous as layers of good-sized, white eggs, and are non-setters. Their dark color and active temperament make them a good bird to raise where hawks, owls, and animal predators are a problem. They are very quick and alert.
Araucana Bantams - Straight Run
The bantam that lays the colored eggs! Their eggs are bluish-green and they are treasured for this quality. These bantams are an Araucana/Americana cross, and come in many different colors and feather patterns.

Barred Cochin Bantam - Straight Run

BB Red Old English Game - Straight Run
These bantams are very popular because of their alertness, upright appearance, and confident personality. The males in all of these varieties are very striking, with bright colored plumage and a certain “cockiness” to their identity.
Black Australorp - Straight Run
Considered one of the best layers of light brown eggs of all heavy breeds, these are glossy black with a greenish to purplish sheen. Females mature early and many will be in production between 5 & 6 months of age. They are big birds, with males weighing 6-8 lbs at maturity and females 5-7 lbs.

Black Cochin - Straight Run
These chickens have a fluffy, downy plumage giving them a somewhat massive, bulky appearance. They have a beautiful coal-black color and are highly prized for exhibition.

This is a super heavy bird, even a little larger than the whites, with black plumage that has a beautiful green sheen. These beautiful birds have ery small bantum, beautiful body and alert personality. Their egg color is white.
Black Sex Link - Pullets
This bird is known for its vigor, livability and high egg production. This is an excellent dual purpose bird. Eggs are brown in color.
Black Silkie Bantam - Straight Run
These chickens are small bundles of all black hair-like feathers, with a mulberry colored comb, face, and wattles. The ear lobes are a light blue-turquoise and the skin is dark bluish/black. They are also great setters of all types of eggs.

Blue Andalusian - Pullet & Straight Run
These chickens are magnificent to look at with their graceful, stately carriage and delicately blue-laced plumage; their skin color is white, with shanks and toes a leaden blue. They are fine layers of white or slightly tinted eggs, with very little tendency towards broodiness.

Bourbon Red Turkey - Straight Run
These turkeys have a very dark, rich, chestnut color that is edged in black on many of the feathers. The wing tips and the back half of the tail are white giving them a very striking appearance. They will not grow as large or as fast as the bronze or white turkeys, but are good to eat and a wonderful addition to the farm.
Broad Breasted Bronze Turkey - Straight Run
Beautiful to behold, these stately lords of the barnyard must be seen to be appreciated. Their feathers are 4 feet in length, 6 feet from wing tip to wing tip. A full grown tom will weigh in at about 38 pounds. Hens easily go 22 pounds.

Buff Brahma - Straight Run
These have the same large size and quiet temperament of the other Brahmas. The buff and black combination and great size make this variety a truly beautiful and regal bird. These birds lay brown eggs, will set, are
gentle and are very nice show birds.
Buff Brahma Bantams - Straight Run
The buff is the newest variety to be recognized in the U.S., and because of this, is more difficult to find. The beautiful golden buff bodies with black tails and laced hackles make them an extremely attractive bird.

These massive Asiatic fowl are covered with an extraordinary abundance of soft, fluffy, golden buff feathers from tip to toe. Poor layers, but
good setters and beautiful show birds.
Buff Duck - Straight Run
The drake and hen are colored the same with the exception of the drake’s head, which is a beautiful seal-brown matched against the soft buff color of the rest of the duck. The hens are good layers, not broody, and will weigh up to 7 pounds. Drakes are about one pound heavier than the hens.
Buff Goose - Straight Run

These large, stately birds have a quiet disposition. They are easy to dress for the table and are white skinned, plump and juicy. Their heavy, full plumage make them excellent winter layers, shelling out brown eggs right through cold weather.

Because of their unusual appearance, the Buttercup is an excellent breed for exhibition projects. The males and females have very different coloring.
Cayuga Duck - Straight Run
The Cayuga is a quiet duck that is very hardy and is known primarily for its brilliant “beetle” green plumage. The hens, which weigh 5 to 6 pounds, lay a light blue or gray egg. The males grow to between 5 & 6 pounds.
Chinese Goose - Straight Run
These are pure white in color and are several pounds smaller than the Toulouse. They are hardy, the best laying of all the geese, and their eggs hatch well. These geese have a knob on the top of their heads. They are very beautiful and make good watch dogs.

Chocolate Runner Duck - Straight Run

These attractive little birds domesticate readily and also do well in the wild. They are about 2/3 the size of a pheasant with barred feathers on the sides, a bright orange beak, and a quickness about them. A real treat for either the table or farmstead.

Cuckoo Maran - Straight Run

Egyptian Fayoumis - Pullet
These small, active, lovely chickens have been raised along the Nile River in Egypt for centuries. No other breed matures quite so quickly as these, and the young females are apt to start laying their small tinted white eggs at 4˝, months, while the males will start to crow at an unbelievable 5-6 weeks.

This very old and rare breed originated in Belgium. They feature a beautiful combination of lustrous black and golden-bay to make the distinctive barred feather pattern. They are rather small and lay white eggs.

A fine example of the crested fowl and among the most ornamental of all. These birds are very showy, useful layers of white eggs and non-setters. They are quiet and gentle birds, owing perhaps to their restricted vision because of the crests. They are a rather small breed with compact bodies, weighing around 3-4 lbs.
Gold Laced Cochin - Straight Run
Each feather is rich, golden-bay laced with lustrous greenish-black, creating a broad oval with a golden-bay center. Cochins are heavily feathered down the shanks and toes and appear to be much larger than they actually are. They are very gentle, excellent setters and require very little space.

Golden Sebright Bantam - Straight Run

Grey Toulouse Goose - Straight Run
These geese are among the most popular sold in America today. They produce excellent yields of goose down and all-dark meat. The varying shades of gray in the plumage emphasize their deep, rounded breasts and massive appearance. Expect fall weights of 18-20 lbs. for males and 12-13 lbs. for females.

Khaki Campbell Duck - Straight Run
One of the best general-purpose ducks. They are probably the best layers of all of the domestic ducks. Mature weight is around 4-5 pounds, and their light plumage makes them easy to pick and nice for table use.

These chickens have a small pea comb, great size and heavy plumage, which makes them almost immune to cold weather. They are good layers of brown eggs, especially in the winter, and will also set. They are easy to dress, with light plumage and yellow skin. Brahmas are exceptionally quiet, gentle & easy to handle.
Light Brahma Bantam - Straight Run
These miniature chickens are very gentle and easy to handle. They are very hardy in cold weather, excellent setters, lay & hatch well, and are very eye-appealing with their sharp contrast of colors. The baby chicks have a gray smoke-colored tint and mature into a pure white body with black laced tail and hackle feathers.
Lakenvelder - Pullets
These chickens are quite small when mature, 3-4 lbs., and very quick & active, foraging widely if allowed to run. The skin is white and the breast unusually plump and round, almost like wild game birds. Hens lay white eggs and are non-setters.
Mille Fleur Bantam - Straight Run
This variety, in many folk’s opinion, is the most fascinating of all Bantams. They have many unusual characteristics and their reddish bay feathers, that are tipped in white, really make them stand out. They come both bearded and non-bearded, their color enhances with age and they are very nice birds.
Mottled Cochin Bantam - Straight Run
A lustrous, greenish-black base color with many of the feathers tipped in white. A color contrast that really makes it stand out in a flock. These birds are very gentle, excellent setters, require little space and are beautiful to look at.

These chickens are standouts in any poultry show due to their flowing crest, v-shaped comb, muff of feathers at the throat, and a 5th toe. Houdans are fine-boned, juicy, white-skinned, and are good layers of white eggs.
Narragansett Turkey - Straight Run
These turkeys are a medium sized breed. They are known for being calm and good mothers. The hens weigh up to 17 lbs; toms to 30 lbs.
New Hampshire Red - Pullet & Straight Run
These chickens have been bred for selective breeding, early maturity, rapid full feathering, and production of large, brown eggs. The mature birds are a rich chestnut-red, of a somewhat lighter and more even shade than the Rhode Island Reds, and the baby chicks are also a lighter red.
Partridge Rock - Straight Run
This is one of the best varieties for the exhibitor. These are fairly good-sized birds with yellow skin and plump body. They make a nice eating fowl, the hens lay brown eggs, and are considered one of the best setters and broody hens.
Partridge Cochin - Straight Run
These handsome, massive fowl are gorgeously colored. Males hackle and saddle feathers are almost orange-red with black centers. Females have the typical partridge pattern with dark reddish-brown feathers penciled in black. These birds are highly prized for their show qualities and are also valuable setting hens.
Pearl Grey Guinea - Straight Run
The Pearl Guinea is the most common variety of guinea today. They are very alert and are wonderful “buggers”. Pearls are a joy to have around and a delicacy for the table.

These ancient Japanese birds are unusually handsome, in color combinations of silver and black. The males have long tail feathers which is a distinguishing trait of this breed.
Porcelain Bantam - Straight Run
This variety, in many folk’s opinion, is the most fascinating of all Bantams. The Porcelain’s base color is a pale blue. All feathers are tipped in white, and the presence of vulture hocks, heavy leg feathering, and a wide-set tail make them unique and unsurpassed in beauty.

These birds have dark black with purplish sheen feathers. They contain all the outstanding traits of guinea fowl.
Quail Anterp Belgian - Straight Run
The Quail color pattern is uniquely different than any other variety. The body is a brownish-black and is slightly tinged with a straw color. The breast is bay and the head is black, with a bay colored beard and muff. These tiny bantams are very friendly and quick to catch the eye.

Ringneck Pheasants - Straight Run

Standard Sultan - Straight Run
This extremely rare breed has a crest, muff, beard, feathered shanks, and a fifth toe. They are a very old breed which originated in Southeastern Europe. They get their name because they were once favored by the rulers of Turkey.

These chickens are graceful, long-tailed fowl with lustrous greenish-black plumage throughout, small comb and wattles, very rare and beautiful.
Toulouse Goose - Straight Run
This goose is the most popular breed sold in America today. It produce excellent yields of down and all-dark meat. Fall weight of 18-20 lbs for males. Fall weight of 12-13 lbs for females.

White Jersey Giant - Straight Run
As the name implies, it is primarily a meat bird of extra large frame. Their yellow skin and white plumage make them an easy fowl to dress. Mature hens are very large and good layers of brown eggs. The adult birds have a tendency to show some dark or gray ticking on an occasional feather.
