If you provide a personal e-mail address in connection with your entry into this sweepstakes (as described below for certain methods of entry), you are opting into Ranch and Home Supply, LLC dba Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply (Murdoch’s) e-mail newsletter subscriber list, also known as the eHerd. Murdoch’s will include you in email communications for advance notice on sales, promotions and events. You can unsubscribe at anytime, however, you must be a current eHerd member to be included in the two-minute round-up shopping spree sweepstakes. Murdoch’s values your privacy and does not allow access or use of e-mail addresses to any outside party for any purpose. Should you wish to opt out of Murdoch’s e-mail list, just click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Murdoch’s e-mail newsletter.

Registrants must be 18 years or older and a legal resident of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado or Nebraska, as determined by Murdoch’s. Employees of Murdoch’s, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and agents and the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents, and grandchildren) of such employees, and all those with whom employees are domiciled, are NOT eligible.

Sweepstakes Sponsor: Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply, 2275 North 7th Avenue, Bozeman, Montana 59715 is offering a sweepstakes. Valid only for residents of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED.

One winner, chosen in the manner described below, will receive a two-minute round-up shopping spree at their local Murdoch’s. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND ON NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED. Only 1 entry per person. Entering more than once does not increase your chances of winning.

The verifiable retail value of the 2-minute round-up shopping spree is estimated to be: between $1,000.00 and $5,000.00. The actual retail value of the two-minute round-up shopping spree will vary depending upon the items selected by the winner during the two-minute round-up shopping spree.
Any valuation of the prize stated above is merely an estimate. There may be federal, state or local tax consequences that arise for winner as the result of the two-minute round-up shopping spree. The determination of liability for any federal, state or local taxes that may arise out of the winner’s participation in this sweepstakes (including the two-minute round-up shopping spree), and the payment of any such tax liability, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Applicable sales tax will be due immediately upon completion of the shopping spree. However, should federal, state or local law impose any tax reporting or filing obligations on Murdoch’s arising out of the winner’s participation in this sweepstakes (including the two-minute round-up shopping spree), the winner agrees to timely provide Murdoch’s with any information that is reasonably needed for Murdoch’s to comply with any such reporting or filing obligations. To this end, in order for Murdoch’s to comply with any obligation to file an IRS Form 1099-MISC with the Internal Revenue Service and winner, winner must provide Murdoch’s with a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number prior to participating in the two-minute round-up shopping spree. Winner is also solely responsible for paying any expenses associated with claiming or using the prize which are not specifically provided in these official rules.

By participating, registrants agree to be bound by the decisions of Murdoch’s personnel. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the sweepstakes or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Murdoch’s will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning these official rules or the sweepstakes and Murdoch’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the sweepstakes is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of Murdoch’s, Murdoch’s reserves the right to terminate the sweepstakes, or make other decisions regarding the conduct or outcome as Murdoch’s deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by Murdoch’s and are final. Murdoch’s may waive any of these official rules in its sole discretion.

To enter, provide your e-mail address to a Murdoch’s cashier, or sign up at www.murdochs.com/shoppingspree with your e-mail address. You will receive a welcome e-mail with a link to confirm entry in the contest, join the eHerd and provide contact information. Your name, phone number, and your choice of Murdoch’s location where you wish to shop in the event you win are required to be included in sweepstakes. Mail-in Entry Forms may also be obtained by sending a written request along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to attn: Sweepstakes, Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply, 2275 North 7th Avenue, Bozeman, Montana 59715. Your name, phone number, and your choice of Murdoch’s location where you wish to shop in the event you win are required to be included in sweepstakes no matter which method of entry you choose. To be eligible to win, entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m MST on October 24, 2010. Entries received after this time will be ineligible and will be discarded. Proof of mailing is not proof of receipt by Murdoch’s. Any incomplete entries will not be considered. Only 1 entry per person.

The first randomly selected potential winner whose name is selected in a drawing conducted by a duly authorized representative of Murdoch’s on October 25, 2010, will be declared a winner, subject to verification of eligibility and satisfaction of all conditions under the terms of these official rules. The decision of Murdoch’s will be final and binding in all matters relating to the selection of the winner. The winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability and a Publicity Release (collectively, “Release”) (where legal) within 2 days of electronic or mail notification to each Winner.

Winner will be notified by e-mail, if possible, and phone on Monday, October 25. Winner will be required to sign and return a Release (where legal) and any other documents reasonably required by Murdoch’s within 48 hours of the first notification attempt. In case of failure to return these documents in the time permitted, or in case of an invalid e-mail address or phone number, or if a winner cannot be contacted within two business days of the original attempt to notify by email or telephone (using the email address or telephone number provided by the registrant), the two-minute round-up shopping spree will be forfeited and Murdoch’s will select another winner, however, substitute winner(s) will be randomly chosen only from registrants who selected the Murdoch’s location selected by the original winner as the Murdoch’s location where the original winner wished to shop.

In case of winner not being able to shop the two-minute round-up shopping spree due to physical challenges, (s)he may choose a substitute shopper who is at least 18 years of age.

In case of winner not being able to shop on Saturday, November 13 for any other reason besides physical challenge, the two-minute round-up shopping spree will be forfeited and Murdoch’s will select another winner who selected the same Murdoch’s location as the original winner.

TWO-MINUTE ROUND-UP SHOPPING SPREE PROVISIONS:

• Two-minute round-up shopping spree will take place on Saturday, November 13. Time to be determined.
• Two-minute round-up shopping spree is for two minutes only. Bell will ring after one minute. Winner will receive “20 seconds to go” warning. Winner must cross finish line before final buzzer.
• One item per brand. If more than one item of the same brand is included in the cart, the winner may select one item per brand in the cart and the remaining items will be returned to Murdoch’s.
• Winner is allowed one Murdoch’s shopping cart. All winning items must fit in/on cart.
• Winner/Shopper must be able to lift item(s) without getting hurt.
• Winner/Shopper is responsible for transportation to and from Murdoch’s.
• Winner/Shopper must take the winnings home the same day of the event.
• All registrants give Murdoch’s the right to their likeness, photographs, and video footage taken during or related to the event, when they enter the contest, and waive their right to privacy should Murdoch’s publish or otherwise use their likeness for any purpose, including advertising through any media. Registrants also grant Murdoch’s permission to use their name and likeness, if chosen as winner, in any media to promote or share the event. Registrants waive any right to royalty or remuneration for such use.
• Items obtained during the 2-minute round-up shopping spree cannot be returned.

By participating in this sweepstakes, each registrant and winner agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Murdoch’s, its officers, directors, employees, shareholders, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and agents, and its respective successors, assigns, agencies and licensees from and against any and all claims, damages or losses suffered by any person which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the sweepstakes or from acceptance or use of any portion or all of the prize awarded, including any claim for personal injury, death, loss or damage or any kind and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. To participate in the two-minute round-up shopping spree, the winner and anyone the winner designates, as permitted under these rules, must sign and return a Release.

The conduct of this sweepstakes is governed by the applicable laws of the United States of America and the States of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska.
