Who’s sponsoring these Sweepstakes?

Our legal name is Ranch and Home Supply, LLC dba Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply® (Murdoch’s/We/Us/Our). ). To celebrate the grand opening of our store in Belgrade, MT, we are happy to give you the chance to win a prize package from our 2023 Belgrade Grand Opening Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”). When are the Sweepstakes?

The Sweepstakes runs from March 24-26, 2023 (“Entry Period”), unless and until terminated by Murdoch’s at our sole discretion. Any such termination will be posted at www.murdochs.com/details.

Who’s eligible?

Any legal resident of the United States (except CA, FL, HI, NY, RI, and VT) who is at least 18 years old may enter the Sweepstakes. Heads up, we may require you to verify your eligibility at any time to participate in the Sweepstakes, win, and/or receive a prize. These folks, however, are not eligible: Murdoch’s owners, officers, managers, employees, and agents, their immediate family members (including parents, grandparents, spouses, children, grandchildren, and siblings), and anyone domiciled with any of them.

How do I enter?

There are 3 methods to enter the Sweepstakes during the Entry Period:

1. Scan the QR code posted on the official Sweepstakes sign while physically present at the grand opening of our Belgrade store, located at 100 Liscom Ave, Belgrade, MT 59714 (“Belgrade Store”).
2. Text MURDOCHS to 40691 while physically present at the grand opening of our Belgrade store, located at 100 Liscom Ave, Belgrade, MT 59714 (“Belgrade Store”).
3. Hand print your first and last name, your complete street address, phone number, email, and date of birth on a 3” x 5” index card or piece of paper, place it into an outer-mailing envelope with proper postage affixed, and mail it to Murdoch’s at our home address above, Attn: Belgrade Grand Opening Sweepstakes Entries. 

Each entry method has the same odds of winning. One entry per person and per email address. Incomplete entries are invalid. Proof of mailing is not proof that we received a mail-in entry. If you properly enter the Sweepstakes, then you are a “Participant.”

What are the prizes?

There are 10 prize packages (each a “Prize”; together, the “Prizes”) provided by participating vendors. The total retail value of each prize varies from $450 - $2200. Prizes are limited to in-store and in-stock merchandise at any Murdoch’s store location at the time a Prize is claimed (see below) and are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner according to applicable law. Murdoch’s may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at our sole discretion. Decisions regarding prize selection and substitution are made in Murdoch's sole discretion and are final and binding on all Participants.

When and how are winners selected?

We will randomly draw the names of 10 winners from all valid entries on April 7, 2023. WINNERS ARE SELECTED AT RANDOM. THE ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED. Decisions regarding the drawing and the selection of winners are made at Murdoch's sole discretion and are final and binding on all Participants.

How does a winner claim a prize?

We will notify each of the 10 winners by the email provided upon entry. The notification email will contain instructions to receive the prize (“Prize Instructions”). Each Prize must be claimed at any Murdoch’s store during normal business hours. Each winner shall have 1 week (“Prize Period”) to claim their prize according to the Prize Instructions. If a winner does not respond as required by the Prize Instructions within the Prize Period, then the Prize is forever forfeited. Only the selected winner may claim the Prize.

Where can I see a list of winners for this Sweepstakes?

You can get a list of winners by sending a written request (with a self-addressed, stamped envelope) to Murdoch’s at our home address above, Attn: Belgrade Grand Opening Sweepstakes Entries.

What about rights, privacy, and future contact?

By entering the Sweepstakes, each Participant thereby authorizes Murdoch’s (1) to use all personal data sent to us related to the Sweepstakes in accordance with our Privacy Policy (www.murdochs.com/privacy), (2) to use the Participant’s first and last names and the city, state, and zip of his/her residence to announce winners on our website and in our emails and all of our social media accounts (including Facebook and Instagram), and (3) to send Participant direct marketing and advertisements, which communications a recipient may opt-out of at any time (including time of entry) by going to www.murdochs.com/unsubscribe, by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email from us, or by requesting that we remove the Participant’s name from our mailing lists by contacting us at customerservice@murdochs.com. We will not sell or share any Participant’s address or email address with any third party.

Don’t get disqualified.

So you know, we may disqualify anyone from participating, winning, or receiving a prize for violating any of these Official Rules, failing to meet any of the Sweepstakes requirements, gaining an unfair advantage in the Sweepstakes, or using fraudulent means to participate, win, or receive a prize in the Sweepstakes. Decisions regarding disqualification are made at Murdoch's sole discretion and are final and binding on all Participants.

We may modify these Official Rules as needed.

We are solely responsible for interpreting these Official Rules and addressing any conflicts, ambiguities, or disputes. We may waive any requirements or otherwise modify these Official Rules as we deem appropriate. We may suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes at any time if the conduct or outcome of the Sweepstakes is affected by anything that undermines its purpose or fairness, including (without limitation) the following: human error; intentional interference; mechanical, electrical, communications, network, Internet, hardware, or software malfunction or failure; or any other event outside Murdoch’s control. Decisions regarding modification of these Official Rules and suspension or termination of the Sweepstakes are made in Murdoch’s sole discretion and are binding on all Participants.

We are not responsible for any losses.

BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH PARTICIPANT THEREBY RELEASES, ACQUITS, AND FOREVER DISCHARGES MURDOCH’S AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS (“MURDOCHIANS”) FROM ANY AND ALL kindS of loss, HARM, or injury related to or arising from the SWEEPSTAKES, including (without limitation) loss associated with the following: lost, late, incomplete, or illegible entries; transmission issues or errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay of entries; theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alterations of entry materials and information (including personal information); mechanical, electrical, communications, network, Internet, hardware, or software malfunction or failure.

We are not liable for any damages.

MURDOCHIANS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE (STRICTLY, VICARIOUSLY, JOINTLY, SEVERALLY, OR OTHERWISE) FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RELATED TO OR ARISING FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES. That limitation on liability applies regardless of whether we knew or should have known of any loss, harm, injury, or damages.

Any disputes must be arbitrated.

ALL CLAIMS OF EVERY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND/OR THE SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS (WITHOUT RESORTING TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION) BY BINDING ARBITRATION. The Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures of the American Arbitration Association shall govern such proceedings. EACH PARTICIPANT KNOWINGLY, WILLFULLY, EXPRESSLY, AND IRREVOCABLY WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL FOR ANY KIND OF CLAIM OR DISPUTE RELATED TO OR ARISING OUT OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE SWEEPSTAKES

Montana law governs these Official Rules.

Montana law governs all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes.

Only these Official Rules count.

These Official Rules constitute the entire agreement between Murdoch’s and each Participant concerning any and all aspects of the Sweepstakes. These Official Rules supersede and cancel all other statements, agreements, and/or understandings concerning any and all aspects of the Sweepstakes, except as Murdoch’s may modify these Official Rules in its sole discretion.
