Description

Rare in grocery stores, 'Sun Gold's' plump, tangerine-colored fruits are a special treat at the peak of flavor in the garden-very sweet and juicy. Provide support for vigorous vines that easily reach 6' long. Pick a bit early and ripen indoors at room temperature. Low-acidity tomato. Disease resistant.

'Sun Gold' tomatoes are at the peak of sun-ripened deliciousness when golden and have a slight give when gently squeezed.

  • Intensely sweet little drops of golden summer goodness. 'Sun Gold' is one of our most loved and requested tomatoes
  • When to sow inside, recommended 4 to 6 weeks before transplanting. Transplant when air temperature is 45 degrees F or warmer, usually 1 to 2 weeks after your average last frost date. Ideal soil temperature for germination is 70 degrees F
  • When to sow outside 1 to 2 weeks after your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is at least 60 degrees F.
  • Space a group of 3 seeds every 24"-36"
  • 10 days to emerge
  • Maturity in 57 days
