Description

The Chicken Plucker from Yardbird takes the hassle out of back-yard chicken processing. Fully de-feathering a bird in 15 seconds or less, the Yardbird revolutionizes what is typically the most painstaking and messy chore of processing a chicken which can take up to 30 minutes plucking by hand. Made from food grade stainless steel, and featuring a commercial grade alloy-gear drive reduction system and powerful electric motor, encased in a one-of-a-kind waterproof housing, this unit is virtually completely maintenance-free and a breeze to clean.

The unit also has a standard garden hose connector in its integrated irrigation ring for convenience in flushing the plucked feathers out of the drum while the 110 individual natural rubber fingers gently remove dirt and grime from the skin of the bird. These same fingers and the feather chute efficiently expel the plucked feathers, dumping them with the water into any slotted five-gallon pail. You will enjoy the compact nature of the plucker and appreciate the ease that you can transport and store it.
