Description
The Main St. Pet™ 30 FT. Heavy Duty Dog Tie-Out Cable is designed to provide both safety and security for your large canine companion while outdoors. Constructed from strong galvanized steel aircraft cable, this robust cable is capable of withstanding the strength of large dogs weighing up to 250 LBS and offers ample space for your dog to roam and play while ensuring they remain within a secure perimeter. This durable cable features two strong slide bolt spring snaps, one on each end, ensuring a reliable connection to both your dog's collar and the anchoring point. Whether camping out or just in your backyard, let the outdoor adventures begin with the confidence that your big dog is safely tethered and secure in one place.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. To prevent serious injury to your pet, NEVER TETHER your dog to or near any obstacle which the dog can become entangled or suspended.
2. lf using a stake or anchor to tether your dog, make sure that the stake or anchor is rated as strong as (or stronger than) the tether to insure integrity of the entire tether system.
3. lnspect this product before each use for visible signs of wear including broken cable strands, rust, worn plastic cable covering, etc. lf wear is evident, replace the product.
4. Use extreme caution when connecting this tether to your dog. Make sure your hands and feet are clear of the tether in case the dog lunges.
5. Connect snubber-spring end of tether (if equipped) to the anchor point. Then firmly grasp the dog by the collar or harness. Connect the other end of the tether to the collar or harness. Release tether and finally, release the dog.
WARNINGS
1. This product is designed for use as a temporary restraint for dogs. DO NOT use this product for any use other than a temporary dog restraint.
2. DO NOT use this product if your dog weighs more than the dog weight limit shown on this package.
3. This product is for attended temporary tethering only. DO NOT leave the pet unattended while connected to this tether. Maintain a constant observation during tethering to prevent injury to the pet or others.
4. DO NOT use this product with mean or vicious dogs or dogs prone to aggressive behavior. Not all dogs can be tethered. Use good judgment and know your pet.
5. NEVER USE this product to walk a dog. Use a leash instead.
6. DO NOT use this product with a choker-type collar.
