Description

Alfalfa Oat Grass Pellets are balanced in protein, digestible fiber, and fat. Pellets are a convenient, easy-to-measure feed option.

FEEDING TIPS:
Standlee recommends that pelleted forage is not the sole source of forage for horses since feeding some long-stem forage may help eliminate boredom and prevent stall vices.
Weigh the amount of forage provided to each horse to ensure you are feeding the proper amount.
Never feed moldy or insect infested forage to horses.
Always provide free-access to fresh, clean water.

Features

  • Recommended For: Growing horses, underweight horses, performance Horses, senior horses, horses with gastric ulcers, and pregnant or lactating mares.
  • Feeding Recommendations: Forage is the most important component of a horse’s diet and should be fed at a rate of 1.5-2.5% of a horse’s body weight. Gradually replace existing hay with Standlee over a seven to fourteen (7-14) day period.
