Developed by a renowned Ph.D. Equine Nutritionist, Standlee Forage Plus™ Gastric Support is an alfalfa-based forage designed to assist in the restoration of damaged digestive tissue and the promotion of hind gut health. This highly palatable forage option is carefully crafted with low levels of sugar and starch without any added grain. The addition of marine-derived calcium, ButiPearl Z EQ, and a proprietary pre and pro-biotic (GI Pro3) is the ideal recommendation for horses dealing with digestive sensitivities or heightened stress, such as trailering and competition to help address digestive issues and upsets effectively.

  • Forage is the most important component of a horse's diet and should be fed at a rate of 1.5-2.5% of a horse's body weight. Introduce Standlee Forage Plus Gastric Support gradually into your horse's diet over seven to fourteen (7-14) days, supplementing the forage and/or pasture with Gastric Support fed at a rate of .5-1% of body weight per day, (i.e., 6-12 lbs for a 1200 lb horse/day)
