Description

Approved and labeled for up to 21 days control against Ostertagia ostertagi - one of the most damaging internal parasites. Delays accumulation of adult worms, subsequently reducing the number of parasite eggs shed onto pasture. No other single product controls a broader spectrum of internal and external parasites, including 36 stages of adult parasites, L4 larvae and inhibited larvae, mange mites and sucking lice. Give cattle 1 ml SQ or IM per 110 lbs. Safe for use in beef cattle, including pregnant cows, newborn calves, bulls, and dairy replacement heifers up to 20 months of age. Give swine 1 ml IM per 75 lbs.

  • Dectomax® Injectable controls more parasite species and larval stages than any other single-ingredient injectable parasite control product.* Dectomax®-CA1 (doramectin injection) Injectable has conditional approval for New World screwworm. Dectomax-CA1 Injectable does not require a prescription.
  • Indications: Dectomax Injectable is for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, grubs (see precautions), sucking lice and mange mites
  • Dectomax®-CA1 is conditionally approved for prevention and treatment of infestation (myiasis) caused by larvae of Cochliomyia hominivorax (New World screwworm), and prevention of reinfestation for 21 days. This conditional approval applies to beef cattle, female dairy cattle less than 20 months of age, pregnant beef cows, newborn calves and bulls.
