ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Description

This STIHL RAPID Super chain utilizes a redesigned cutter and tie strap design to reduce vibration levels significantly while still taking advantage of the aggressive full-chisel cutter design to offer extremely fast cutting. The cutters have a razor-edged, square corner shape that minimizes chain friction and helps deliver a clean cut along with excellent cutting and plunge-cutting efficiency. Note that while this chain will cut faster than a half-chisel chain, it also requires a bit more maintenance and sharpening to keep up its high level of performance.

  • OILOMATIC drive link lubrication slots funnel oil directly to the rivet to reduce wear and save oil
  • Stretched at the factory to eliminate excess adjustments during break in periods
  • Risk of kickback with this chain: only for use by those with experience and training for dealing with kickback
