ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Description

This PVC threaded coupling (FIP x FIP) is used for joining sections of threaded pipe and/or nipples. PTFE thread tape (sold separate) is recommended for threaded joints. Use this fitting for outside cold water applications such as irrigation, underground residential sprinkler systems, water service pipe, deionized water lines, swimming pool installations, and some chemical drainage systems.

  • Schedule 40 PVC pipe meets ASTM D1785
  • Schedule 40 PVC pipe 1-1/2" and larger is dual rated for pressure (ASTM 1785)
