Sometimes you find yourself in a jam. Here’s your way out: The DCD740B. It’s a job-saver. It’s a 3/8” Right Angle Drill/Driver powered by DEWALT’s 20V MAX* Lithium Ion Batteries. With a tool length of only 4” front to back, you’ll go where no standard drill/driver could ever go, and with variable speed settings of 0-650 rpm & 0-2000 rpm you’ll be able to use it for a variety of tasks, like boring holes in cramped joist spaces or tightening screws inside that engine compartment. The paddle trigger makes for a comfortable and convenient approach, and the right angle design allows for versatile operation styles. You’ll find yourself using this one for more and more projects, not only because it’s convenient, but also because it’s great to switch up your grip!

  • Dual speed ranges (0-650/0-2000) rpm for increased user flexibility providing a wide range of applications.
  • Compact front to back length (4.0") allowing users to fit into hard to reach spaces.
  • Multi-grip trigger provides comfort and convenience, allowing the user to get into tighter spaces while still having access to the trigger.
  • 3/8" Ratcheting Chuck with Deep Hex Pocket allows 2" (50 mm) hex bit to be fully inserted for getting into tight spaces.
