Murdoch's Rewards™ FAQ

Can I get points for purchases made prior to the launch of the program?

No. Purchases made prior to the launch of the program are not eligible to earn points.

 

How do I earn points?

Members may earn points for qualifying purchases at a Murdoch’s store or online at murdochs.com. Simply provide your phone number at register or log into your murdochs.com account before making a purchase. Some exclusions apply.

 

Will I earn points on everything I purchase at Murdoch's?

Members earn points for each online or in-store purchase of a qualifying product, which include all transactions and products sold by Murdoch’s, except taxes, donations, discounts, gift cards/e-gift cards, delivery services, shipping charges or surcharges, service/repair fees, licenses or permits, promotional events/redemptions (e.g. Carhartt Bucks), any portion of purchases made with points, payments on accounts/finance or interest charges, purchases made prior to becoming a Program Member, or any compensated portions of the purchase.

 

When will I receive my points?

For in-store purchases, your rewards will automatically show up in your account within 48 hours of your qualifying purchase. For murdochs.com purchases, the points will show up 48 hours after your order has shipped, or within 48 hours after your Buy Online Pick Up In Store order has been picked up.

 

What happens to my points when I return items?

If merchandise is returned, all points earned from the purchase, including bonus points, will be deducted from your account. This could result in a negative point balance.

 

Will I lose my reward points if I return an item purchased with them?

If you return an item purchased with a reward, the reward amount will be credited back to your account. For example, if you apply a $10 Reward to a $50 purchase (before tax, shipping) and then return the item, then 1,000 points ($10) will be returned to your loyalty account within 48 hours for in-store return and 48 hours after your web return is processed.

 

How many points will I earn?

Rewards members earn 1 point for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases in-store or online at murdochs.com. Limited-time promotions may also offer opportunities to earn extra or multiplied points on net qualifying purchases.

 

How do I redeem points?

In-store, you may ask a Team Member to check your available points and apply them to your purchase. Online redemption coming soon.

 

Do points expire?

Points expire one year after they are issued, on a rolling basis. For example, points earned in September 2024 will expire in September 2025. Points earned in November 2024 will expire in November 2025.

 

Where can I find my points balance?

You can find your points balance in several places: on your dashboard when you sign into your murdochs.com account, or by asking a Murdoch's Team Member at the store register.

 

How do I get points for purchases not listed in my points history?

You can report a missing purchase in a Murdoch’s store with a receipt. Points will post to your account approximately two weeks after the transaction is updated.

 

What happens if part of my order is canceled?

If part of an order is canceled, you will earn points, including any bonus points, for the remaining items that are shipped or picked up in a store.

 

What happens if I use my points to place an online order that is then canceled?

If part or all of an order is canceled, any points used as payment on the order will automatically be refunded to your Rewards Account. Points can take up to 48 hours after the cancellation to re-appear online in your dashboard.

 

Will I earn points in a transaction where I am using points?

When you make a purchase with Murdoch’s Rewards points, you will earn points on the balance of the purchase not covered by the points being used. For example, if you make a $35 purchase and apply $5 worth of points, you will earn points on $30, less tax, shipping, donations, and other excluded items.

 

Can I use my points with promotional discounts?

Yes, your points may be used with other promotional offers or discounts, unless otherwise noted.

 

Are Murdoch’s Rewards™ points or benefits transferrable?

Murdoch’s Rewards™ points and benefits are non-transferable and non-assignable. Points may only be redeemed once and are not transferrable to other parties. Program participants cannot combine spending, visits, offers, points, or other program benefits across multiple accounts.
