We would like to introduce you to the two financing options we offer: John Deere Financial account or stored credit card.
Let’s talk about the John Deere Financial option first. John Deere Financial (JDF) is the company that we use to process our charge accounts. JDF offers government, agricultural, business and consumer accounts with attractive terms and competitive rates. Perhaps you already have a Preferred John Deere Financial account? Bring your account number in and we will set up an account right away.
There are three easy ways for you to submit your JDF application: online, fax and mail. The quickest way is online at http://www.deere.com/en_US/docs/financial/usa/multiuse_apply/index.html. Please make sure that pop-ups are not blocked or the application process will not be able to continue. In the drop-down menu, select Apply. Next, you will choose which type of account you would like to apply for and click on the corresponding link. At this point, you can either apply online or print out the application and mail or fax it to JDF. If you choose to apply online, you will receive a response within an hour. Print your approval notice and bring it along with two forms of identification to the store and we will get your account set up to charge.
We also offer the option to allow you to authorize other individuals to make purchases on your JDF charge account. The Limited Account Authorization form (download PDF here) needs to be completed and returned to the store.
The second financing option we offer is to securely store your credit card information in our system. The Bank Card Encryption Authorization form (download PDF here) can be completed and brought to your local Murdoch’s. This form can also be used to add names of an authorized user who can make purchases on your account.
With both options, the account number is stored in our secure system so you don’t need to carry a charge card.
