MURDOCH’S REWARDS™ TERMS & CONDITIONS
Updated: July 21, 2024
Sponsor. Ranch and Home Supply, LLC dba Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply (“Murdoch’s,” “We,” “Us,” “our”) is sponsoring a rewards program (“Murdoch’s Rewards™,” “Program”) according to the terms and conditions below (“Terms”). Our corporate office is located at 2311 N. 7th Ave Bozeman, MT 59715.
Program Terms. By enrolling in the Program (see below), each member (“Member,” “You,” “Your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms, as may be revised by Us from time to time. The Terms below govern and provide details regarding membership and all other aspects of the Program.
Easy and Free to Join. There is no fee for joining Murdoch’s Rewards™, and Members earn points in connection with the purchase of qualifying products (see below) at Murdoch’s store locations and on murdochs.com.
- Shop any of Your favorite qualifying products.
- Earn points on those purchases over time.
- Redeem those points toward future purchases.

Membership
Eligibility. In order to enroll in the Program, a person must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States. The Program is void outside of the United Sates and where otherwise prohibited by law. Employees of Murdoch’s are eligible for membership. Membership in the Program is limited to individuals and to one Murdoch’s Rewards™ account (“Rewards Account”) per individual.
Enrollment. Any eligible individual may enroll in the Program online at murdochs.com/rewards, or in-person at any Murdoch’s store location. Online enrollment requires an existing or new Murdoch’s web account (“Web Account”) and the Member’s first and last name, email address, phone number, and zip code. In-store enrollment requires the Member’s first and last name, phone number, and email address. We use this information for operating and administering the Program, subject to Murdoch’s Privacy Statement, which can be found at: www.murdochs.com/about/privacy-policy.
Communication Opt-In. During online or in-store enrollment, Members also may be asked if they want to opt in to receiving SMS (text) messages relating to Murdoch’s Rewards™, regular promotions, transaction details, and other information. Opting in authorizes Us to send You SMS (text) messages, emails, and other forms of communication. All communication from Us is subject to Murdoch’s Privacy Statement, which can be found at: www.murdochs.com/about/privacy-policy.
Communication Opt-Out. A Member may opt out of communications as follows: (1) texting “STOP” to discontinue SMS (text) messages; (2) submitting the appropriate form at www.murdochs.com/unsubscribe to stop email and/or direct mail; or (3) calling Murdoch’s Customer Service at 1-855-232-9104. Even after opting out, We may continue to email or contact Members regarding the administration and status of their Rewards Account. In order to stop receiving all electronic communications from Us regarding the Program, a Member must unenroll from Murdoch’s Rewards™ (see below).
Unenrollment. To unenroll from Murdoch’s Rewards™, visit or call a Murdoch’s store location and ask an employee for assistance. Unenrollment may take up to 5 days to complete.

Earning Points
Required Verification. After successful enrollment, earning Program points (“Points”) requires that a Member verify Program membership and Rewards Account status prior to making Qualified Purchases (see below) as follows: (1) for online purchases, logging into the Member’s Web Account; or (2) for in-store purchases, providing a telephone number at the point of sale, or an email address or first and last name associated with an active Rewards Account (collectively, “Required Verification”). Members who fail to make the Required Verification (see above) at the time of a Qualified Purchase can request Points to accrue according to these Terms within 30 days after such purchase by bringing the receipt to an employee at a Murdoch’s store location, or by calling Murdoch’s Customer Service at 1-855-232-9104.
Qualified Purchases. After making the Required Verification, Members earn Points for each online or in-store purchase of a qualifying product, which include all transactions and products sold by Murdoch’s, except taxes, donations, discounts, gift cards/e-gift cards, delivery services, shipping charges or surcharges, service/repair fees, licenses or permits, promotional events/redemptions (e.g. Carhartt Bucks), any portion of purchases made with Points, payments on accounts/finance or interest charges, purchases made prior to becoming a Program Member, or any compensated portions of the purchase (collectively “Qualified Purchase”). Members cannot earn Points without the Required Verification, retroactively, or for purchases made prior to becoming a Member.
Points Accrual. Members earn 1 Point for every $1 spent on Qualified Purchases. Points are rounded up or down based on the total amount of the Qualified Purchase. For example, a Qualified Purchase of $35.60 would be rounded up to 36 Points; a Qualified Purchase of $35.40 would be rounded down to 35 Points. From time to time, Murdoch’s may offer additional opportunities to earn Points (each an “Offer”).
Points Availability. Qualified Purchases and the corresponding Points will be available in the Member’s Rewards Account as follows: (1) for online purchases, within 48 hours after the order ships or is picked up at a Murdoch’s store location; or (2) for in-store purchases, within 48 hours after the in-store transaction is complete. Members can get information regarding their Qualified Purchases and corresponding Points by logging into their Web Account, or by asking an employee at a Murdoch’s store location.
Points Expiration. Points expire on a rolling basis 1 year after the first month they appear as available in the Member’s Rewards Account (not from the date of a Qualified Purchase). For example, if a Member’s Rewards Account has a balance of 100 Points in January 2024, and 50 more Points are reported as available in the same account in February 2024 but are not Redeemed (see below) over the following year, those Points will expire at 12AM on March 1, 2025, and the Rewards Account would be reduced by 50 Points at that time. All Points in a Member’s Rewards Account expire immediately upon termination of that account by Murdoch’s as provided in these Terms.
Bonus Points. From time to time, and in Our sole discretion, Murdoch’s may run certain bonus promotions during which Members can earn additional Points on certain Qualified Purchases ("Bonus Points"). The special terms of each promotion govern how the Bonus Points accrue. Except as stated in such special terms, all of the Terms herein apply to Bonus Points.
Returns and Credit. When a Member makes a Qualified Purchase that later becomes the subject of a return, refund, returned check due to non-sufficient funds, or other credit (“Credit”), all Points, including Bonus Points, earned on that Qualified Purchase are deducted from the Member's Rewards Account. If the number of Points deducted is greater than the balance of Points then in the Member’s Rewards Account (“Point Deficit”), the Member’s account incurs a negative Point balance in the amount of the Point Deficit. For example, if the Member account has 20 Points and a Credit is made in the amount of $30, the deduction will result in an account balance of -10 Points. Any Points accrued when a Member has a Point Deficit will be applied first to bring the Member’s Rewards Account to a positive Point balance before any Points can be Redeemed (see below).

Redeeming Points
General Rules. Members can use (“Redeem” or “Redemption”) their Points to reduce the purchase price of eligible products in Murdoch’s store locations and online at murdochs.com, subject to product availability, these Terms, the terms of an applicable Offer, and other conditions and exclusions that Murdoch’s may impose from time to time. Points cannot be credited to an account, redeemed for cash or cash equivalent, applied to past purchases, or used for purchasing gift cards. Points are not transferrable to other parties. Points may be used to reduce the purchase price of eligible products in conjunction with other Murdoch’s offers, unless explicitly stated in the applicable terms.
Points Applied to Future Purchase. Points are Redeemed at the ratio of 100-to-1, as follows:
100 Points = $1.00 off
1000 Points = $10.00 off
10000 Points = $100.00 off
Points may be Redeemed only in increments of 100 Points in the purchase of one or more eligible products. For example, if a Member wants to Redeem 700 Points, the purchase price would be reduced by $7.00.
NO WARRANTIES. EXCEPT AS EXPLICITLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, MURDOCH’S MAKES NO CLAIMS, WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) THOSE RELATED TO MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NONINFRINGEMENT, AND THOSE THAT MIGHT ARISE FROM ANY COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, OR USAGE OR TRADE. MURDOCH’S SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY FEES, EXPENSES, COSTS, CHARGES, OR ANY OTHER AMOUNTS OR LIABILITIES INCURRED BY MEMBER OR ANY THIRD PARTY IN CONNECTION WITH MEMBER’S ENROLLMENT OR PARTICIPATION IN MURDOCH’S REWARDS™. ENROLLMENT AND PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED “AS IS" AND “AS AVAILABLE,” AND MEMBER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK.
WAIVER AND RELEASE. BY ENROLLING IN THE PROGRAM, AND THEREBY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, MEMBER WAIVES ALL CLAIMS FOR, AND FOREVER RELEASES, DISCHARGES, AND HOLDS HARMLESS MURDOCH’S AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, LOSS, INJURY (INCLUDING DEATH), DAMAGE, ACCIDENT, DELAY, INCONVENIENCE, INCONSISTENCY, AND/OR IRREGULARITY ARISING OUT OF OR ASSOCIATED WITH ENROLLMENT AND/OR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM OR THE ACCUMULATION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY POINTS.

Limitation of Liability
YOU UNDERSTAND, ACKNOWLEDGE, AND AGREE THAT YOUR PARTICIPATION AND USE OF THIS PROGRAM IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, MURDOCH’S SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION), LOST REVENUES, LOST PROFITS, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO MEMBER’S WEB ACCOUNT AND/OR REWARDS ACCOUNT, AND UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MEMBER’S POINTS, IN ANY WAY ARISING OUT OF OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROGRAM, WHETHER BASED ON TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF MURDOCH’S WAS AWARE OR HAD BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Dispute Resolution
Read this section carefully because it affects rights that You might otherwise have. It provides for resolution of disputes through arbitration instead of court proceedings.
Informal Resolution. You and Murdoch’s shall refrain from pursuing arbitration or any kind of court proceeding to resolve any dispute arising out of or related to the Program and/or these Terms (“Program Claim”) until each has used best efforts to resolve such a Program Claim in good faith as follows:
- You must first present the Program Claim to Murdoch’s at legal@murdochs.com to initiate the informal resolution process by providing (a) Your full name and contact information, (b) basic information about the specific purchase, transaction, or matter at issue, (c) a description of Your claim and the relief sought, and (d) Your counsel’s name and contact information, if applicable;
- You and Murdoch’s will personally meet and confer, via teleconference or videoconference, in a good faith effort to resolve the Program Claim, during which counsel (if any) for each party may participate, but is not required to do so;
- While You and Murdoch’s engage in the informal resolution process described herein, each party is solely responsible for its own fees, costs, and expense related thereto, and any applicable statute of limitations will be tolled;
- If the Program Claim is not resolved within 60 days after Your email that initiates the informal resolution process, unless an extension is mutually agreed upon in writing by You and Murdoch’s, either party may request binding arbitration as provided below.
Binding Arbitration. If a Program Claim is not resolved as provided above, and upon request by either You or Murdoch’s, the Program Claim shall be submitted to the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) for resolution via binding arbitration under the applicable AAA rules (“AAA Rules”), except that either party may elect to have a Program Claim heard in small claims court, provided the minimum requirements for that court’s jurisdiction are satisfied. Arbitration under this provision shall proceed as follows:
- You must file an individual request for arbitration pursuant to the AAA Rules, including Your name and address, identification of Your counsel (if any), a detailed description of the legal claims being asserted and the requested relief, and a good-faith calculation of the specific amount in dispute and demanded;
- You shall not participate in or coordinate/cooperate with any plan, strategy, or other effort to make multiple demands, or request/file or threaten to request/file for arbitration of claims, all of a substantially similar nature related to the Program or these Terms (collectively, “Mass Arbitration”);
- Within 14 calendar days of initiating such arbitration, the parties may agree in writing on one arbitrator, or thereafter the arbitrator will be selected according to the AAA Rules;
- If for any reason Mass Arbitration proceeds, separate arbitrations will be administered in batches of 100 cases each, with one arbitrator and one set of administrative fees per batch;
- Any final decision or award by the arbitrator in such proceeding may be appealed pursuant to the Optional Appellate Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA Appellate Rules”);
- Within 14 calendar days of initiating such an appeal, the parties may agree in writing on the members of an appeal tribunal, or thereafter the tribunal will be selected according to the AAA Appellate Rules;
- Venue for any such arbitration and appeal shall be in Bozeman, Montana, but the parties and the arbitrator shall use online technologies for synchronous meetings unless such technologies are not available for one or both parties.
YOU KNOWINGLY, WILLFULLY, EXPRESSLY, UNCONDITIONALLY, AND IRREVOCABLY WAIVE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ANY RIGHT TO PURSUE A PROGRAM CLAIM ON A CLASS OR CONSOLIDATED BASIS OR IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY. YOU SHALL NOT ACT AS A CLASS REPRESENTATIVE OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL WITH RESPECT TO ANY PROGRAM CLAIM, NOR PARTICIPATE AS A MEMBER OF A CLASS OF CLAIMANTS. PROGRAM CLAIMS MAY NOT BE ARBITRATED ON A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE BASIS, AND YOU SHALL NOT PARTICIPATE IN OR COORDINATE/COOPERATE WITH OTHER ACTUAL/POTENTIAL CLAIMANTS IN MASS ARBITRATION (SEE ABOVE). THE ARBITRATOR CAN DECIDE ONLY INDIVIDUAL CLAIMS MADE BY YOU AND/OR MURDOCH’S. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE OR JOIN THE CLAIMS OF OTHER PERSONS OR PARTIES WHO MAY BE SIMILARLY SITUATED.
YOU AND MURCOCH’S KNOWINGLY, WILLFULLY, EXPRESSLY, UNCONDITIONALLY, AND IRREVOCABLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY ACTION, PROCEEDING, COUNTERCLAIM, CROSS-CLAIM, OR THIRD-PARTY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY PROGRAM CLAIM. IF FOR ANY REASON A CLAIM PROCEEDS IN COURT RATHER THAN THROUGH ARBITRATION, YOU AND MURDOCH’S AGREE THAT THERE WILL NOT BE A JURY TRIAL.
If You demonstrate that the costs of arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to the costs of litigation, Murdoch’s will pay as much of the administrative costs and arbitrator fees (“Arbitration Fees”) required to prevent the cost of the arbitration from being prohibitive, as determined by the arbitrator. However, Murdoch’s will not pay Your share of the Arbitration Fees if the requirements under this section on binding arbitration are not followed/satisfied, or if the arbitrator finds that either the Program Claim or the relief sought is frivolous or is brought without foundation or for an improper purpose, as measured by the standards of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11(b), in which event You will be required to reimburse Murdoch’s for its costs, expenses, and reasonable attorney fees incurred in connection with the investigation, defense, arbitration, and/or settlement of the Program Claim. A party that initiates an appeal of a final arbitration decision or award shall be responsible for all associated fees, including filing fees and compensation for the appeal tribunal. Except as stated above, each party is solely responsible for its own attorney fees throughout arbitration and appeal.
The decisions of the arbitrator(s) shall be conclusive and binding upon all parties involved, and any judgment or decision on any arbitration may be entered and specifically enforced in any court having proper jurisdiction. Any arbitration and decision shall be confidential, and neither You nor Murdoch’s may disclose the existence, content, or results of any arbitration, except as may be required by law or for purposes of enforcement or appeal of the arbitration award.
You acknowledge and agree that, regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any Program Claim you might have must be filed within 1 calendar year after such claim arises, or it is forever barred.
If any portion of this arbitration provision is determined by a court to be inapplicable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall be given full force and effect.
Choice of Law, Jurisdiction, and Venue. These Terms and enrollment and participation in the Program shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana (except where inconsistent with the AAA Rules and the AAA Appellate Rules), without regard to conflict of law principles or provisions. Should it be required by governing law or agreed to in writing by the Member and Murdoch’s, any suit or proceeding other than arbitration (otherwise required by these Terms) shall be brought only in state or federal district court located in the Eighteenth Judicial District, Gallatin County, Montana, or the United States District Court for the District of Montana, Billings Division. In such case, the Member and Murdoch’s shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts and waive any and all objections related to jurisdiction, venue, and inconvenience.

Other Terms
Modification of Terms. Except where prohibited by law, Murdoch’s reserves the right to update, modify, restrict, suspend, terminate, or otherwise change these Terms, Murdoch’s Rewards™, and/or any aspect of the Program, including (without limitation) the Point conversion ratio and the Point expiration policy, in Our sole discretion, at any time, for any/no reason, and without notice to Members. Murdoch’s may make such changes even if they might affect a Member's ability to use Points already accumulated. You are solely responsible for knowing the content of these Terms, as they may be changed by Murdoch’s from time to time. You agree that Your continued use of a Rewards Account and/or Your participation in the Rewards Program after changes to these Terms are made on murdochs.com shall constitute Your acknowledgement and acceptance of the changes.
Use of Program. Your enrollment and participation in Murdoch’s Rewards™ is not authorized in any jurisdiction that does not give full effect to all provisions of these Terms, and You agree not to enroll or participate in Murdoch’s Rewards™ in any jurisdiction where all or any portion of the Program or these Terms violate any laws. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable laws.
Points Balance. The number of Points accumulated in a Rewards Account as indicated by Murdoch’s shall be deemed correct. Murdoch’s reserves the right to determine the Point balance in any Rewards Account based on Our internal records related to the Member's transactions, which records govern any inconsistency with receipts or other documentation provided by the Member. Murdoch’s assumes no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect Member information. If required under applicable unclaimed property laws due to non-Redemption of your Points balance over time, We may transfer, report, or convey your Points balance to a state agency without liability.
Points Transfer Prohibited. All Points accrued in a Member’s Rewards Account remain the sole property of Murdoch’s unless/until Redeemed as provided in these Terms. A Member has no property, legal, or equitable rights in the Points, which may not be sold, gifted, traded, brokered, bartered, or otherwise transferred, and cannot be the subject of a settlement, legal proceeding, or estate. Any use or attempted use of Points in any way that is not explicitly authorized by these Terms is strictly prohibited and may result in the confiscation or cancellation of Points and/or suspension or termination of a Member’s Reward’s Account or enrollment or participation in the Program.
Termination of Membership. Murdoch’s may terminate any Member's Rewards Account and membership in the Program at any time if, in Murdoch’s sole discretion, the Member engages in abuse of the Program or fails to follow and not violate these Terms. Without limiting Murdoch’s rights, fraud or abuse relating to the accrual or Redemption of Points may result in such termination and may affect the former Member's eligibility to participate in other Murdoch’s programs.
Murdoch’s Decisions Final. All decisions made by Us regarding the Program and these Terms, including (without limitation) eligibility, enrollment, participation, accumulation and use of Points, and suspension and revocation of membership, are final and unappealable.
