DIY Independence Day Bandana Wreath

Adorn your front door with a hand-made Independence Day wreath using Murdoch’s products!

Nothing says festive like a decorative, hand-made wreath. This Independence Day, wow your guests with a one-of-a-kind bandana wreath. The best part is that you can find all of these supplies at your local Murdoch’s for under $20!

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Tomato trellis
  • Wire cutters
  • Paisley bandanas (Red, white, and blue colors)bandana-IMG_8390.jpg


Step 1: Use the wire cutters to cut the largest circle off of the tomato trellis. This wire circle will be used as the base of the wreath.
Tip - The remainder of the tomato trellis can be used for a smaller plant!

Step 2: Fold your red, white and blue bandanas lengthwise. This will help with the folding process.

Step 3: Use the pull-through knot method to attach the bandanas to the wire circle. Bandanas can be organized in any fashion.
For this example, we placed them in the shape of the American flag!

Step 4: Once all bandanas are secured to the wire circle, pull apart the tails of the bandanas to fill any open spaces.
